Christy & Nique began Merry Go 'Round Children's Resale 6 1/2 years ago in Christy's garage with only 25 consignors. The sale now hosts more than 200 consignors from all over the state of SC, many driving more than an hour to bring their items for consignment or just to shop!
"With 4 children, I am always looking for a way to save on the clothing, toys & other items I buy for my kids. When my family moved to Hartsville, I thought a children's resale would be a great idea for such a close-knit community filled with young families. I really had to sell the idea at first. Nique & I began approaching friends & co-workers, convincing them that Merry Go 'Round gave them the opportunity to purge their children's items no longer needed, buy quality items below retail value, AND make money at the same time! It's amazing how much it's grown. Now, we have a waiting list for new consignors!" Christy
